Accommodation

Holly Cottage is an old cottage built half in stone, half in timber and plaster. It sits at the top of the orchard with its own secure, secluded rear garden and patio area. As well as a lockable bike store, it also has ample car parking.

The cottage sleeps six comfortably in three bedrooms - two double (one is en-suite) and one twin beds.

As well as enjoying beautiful views of the Caradoc and Lawley hills, the cottage has a wealth of original features so although recently renovated it still maintains its ancient authenticity. Beamed ceilings and walls, with exposed wattle and daub panels make it an interesting and charming place to stay.

The porch has boot racks for wellies and walking boots and hanging space for coats. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern comforts such as dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave.

A flight of stairs leading from the dining room takes you to two of its three bedrooms. Mind your head as you leave the dining room and enter the lounge with its large inglenook fireplace complete with original bread oven - a comfortable and cosy room. Light the woodburner and sit by a roaring fire on cold winters' evenings. The lounge has a TV and DVD player. A second flight of stairs leads to the third bedroom with its antique four-poster bed and en-suite shower room.

Downstairs is the family bathroom with bath and shower over.

The cottage has full oil central heating.

Note: Property has two dog-leg staircases and thus may be unsuitable for less mobile.
